Happy Halloween!

Never really had the tradition to celebrate halloween or attended any halloween parties for the past 23 years.. haha! Yes, I'm very suagu... so to me, halloween to me is like any other day... where in my faintest memory, I recall catching some ang moh 'trick or treat' related movies which I've caught on tv long long ago.. haha.. so to me, halloween is a day for western kids, where ppl will dress up like ghosts and witches, and go around knocking on ppl's doors, asking for tricks or treat =P That's abt it...

So this year, it was a little different, I didnt dress up... =P but went to the Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM) instead! hahaha... I've never visited ACM before, and since they allow ppl to go in for free that day.. So we thought, why not? It sounded interesting and cool.. haha! =) A great way to spend the Saturday night! haha..

And and.. they give out free bacardi drinks to visitors! while stocks last.. *alcoholic in me sneaking out again* HAHA!

We were greeted by hordes of ppl~ colourfully clad in various halloween themed costumes.. haha.. and the place was decorated with loads of cobwebs, pumpkins, etc.. ACM looked vv black and orange that night.. hee!

Behind me are throngs of people queueing up to don costumes and take a picture for rememberance sake.. haha.. Cool~ I wanted to, but queue was too long.. haha.. I need alcohol~ =P

This is Mr Koh.. haha.. with alot of ppl cluttered in the background.. It was a heart-warming sight.. families coming with kids enjoying a night out while having fun.. Some parents even dressed up as witches to accompany their kids.. haha!

I spotted this on the stairway~ haha.. A big funny balloon black spider, and a bloody rubber disjointed foetus.. haha.. Alot of cotton wool wasted =P

We carried on with the search for the stickers to get free drinks heritage / educational tour around ACM...

It was dark and crowded.. haha.. but colourful and interesting.. =)

And yes~ we found the stickers.. We were initially informed that the stickers have been fully distributed, but then... lady luck was smiling at us that night, the facilitator came forward to us (I think she remembered us asking for them), and said she found some extra stickers..

YEAH! we dashed to ground level again.. to exchange for the drinks.. haha... one drink per sticker per visitor =P Better than nothing...

After the drink, we went up again to catch some dance performance.. Which was very abstract.. Makes me wonder why can't they dance and have a narrator telling the story.. how do you expect the kids to understand when I can't even make out what they are trying to mean... haha! But well, that's art.........

What's halloween without taking some pics with hideous characters.. haha.. I think this 'creature' is quite disgusting.. so I asked for a picture.. haha.. =)

Performance ended shortly, and we proceeded with the educational tour again... It was really enriching, surprisingly.. maybe coz I was a history student, I'm surprised I didnt fall asleep while reading and looking at historic artifacts =P I'm well trained to have an inquisitive mind... HAHA!

Time to take a break after all the walking and reading.. haha...

We loitered around till midnight and it was time to head home~ We strolled to fullerton where I've parked my lambo........ *beep beep*

Laura's first month party

Went for Laura's first month party on Saturday~ =) As usual, Laura was sound asleep when we arrived... she is always sleeping.. she is either sleeping or eating.. HAHA!

Her top says 'hug me'.. haha.. your wish is granted! =P

Catherine likes to carry Laura... It's only been 2-3 weeks since we last met Laura and she has grown longer.. hahaha...

She was grumpy and started cyring non stop... haha~ we reckoned it could be due to the 'jealousy' she felt inside as all eyes were on the new born which made her feel neglected all of a sudden.. haha.. But, mummy's here to save the day! =)

Because it was raining~

It was raining heavily over my side.. and had actually planned to do lunch with Beh Beh Yi.. but rain had to come at such an ungodly hour.. haha.. why must it be during lunch time?

haha.. So, I decided to just sit back and relax... while the rain was still pouring outside.. Slowly sip my pipping hot milo, and munch on some random biscuits I bought at the supermarket some weeks ago.. Coupled with some newspapers in hand, haha.. this is life~

What a luxury~ =)

Happy Birthday Shiyou!

Celebrated Shiyou's birthday few days ago.. and on Saturday we went to Sun with Moon at Central Mall for dinner.. Heard lots about this restaurant, but hadnt had the chance to sample their food..

haha.. so........ The dinner was highly anticipated.. at least by me.. hee!

We ordered some sushi rolls, along with some main dish for each of us..

I didnt want to use flash, hence the dark pictures.. haha.. My dear C905 has its limitations.. and the flaws are magnified especially in low light environment.. =P

The girls~ hahaha... waiting patiently for our main dish.. Everyone except Felicia ordered this..

Tonkatsu Ramen =) haha.......... I prefer Tampopo's black pig ramen.. hee!

We went for another dinner on her actual birthday.. haha! Somewhere nearer to us... the famous CHOMP CHOMP! The smoke was overwhelming, but that's what makes dining there 'unique'.. once in a while, it's fine.. haha.. I cannot imagine going there every night =P

We ordered the Large sugarcane juice.. haha......... perfect on a hot night!

Visiting Peronel, Vera and Laura~

It's a joyous occasion...... Peronel Junior Number 2 arrived onto this earth on 6th October 2009.. She is also affectionately known as Laura~ What a sweet name =) Of coz, the Xpress girls and me (ex-Xpress girl) went to visit our bestie manager...... haha! It was a happy occasion.. to see lil kids running about in the house.. haha.. Of course, Vera was the hyper one that day, running about making cups of coffee (fake ones) for us using her collection of toy cups.. hahahha... while all eyes were fixated on the new born....

Vera is prettier by the day.. haha.. Mei mei like the mum =)

Peronel and Laura....... haha.. Aww.. she was cyring then.. She turns red immediately when she cries.. haha! Like a red tomato.. and the funny thing was, her cries were so soft.. haha... must be cyring for the past few days that she lost her voice =P..

Vera with her sexy yellow undies.. hahahaha! So very cute.. She has a whole collection of cute undies.. of all colours and designs.. haha! The one she's wearing had a pic of a girl with 2 pony tails by the side.. and the pony tails were actually some thick wool attached to the head of the girl.. so it's movable.. haha!

While the 'aunties' were busy chatting.. Vera was busy playing with the digital camera.. haha.. See the yellow undies? HAHA!

As understood, babies have to be fed every 2 hours.. coz they get hungry easily.. Can you imagine waking up every 2 hours while you are sleeping to feed the baby? Changing soiled nappies, all the dos and don'ts during pregnancy and confinement, hormonal changes and mood swings.. Being a mother is defintely not easy.. Kudos to all mothers in the world!

I shall worry about all these next time.. haha.. when I become a mother myself~

For now, I shall just enjoy playing with the babies and leave the taking care of to their respective mothers.. HAHA! =P

My 23rd Birthday - Part 7

Met up with my 18/03 girls last thursday for my birthday finale.. haha! The girls brought me to Stereo lounge at Pan Pacific Hotel.. I didnt even know it exists, until they brought me there.. I've lost touch with all these drinking areas~ Anyway, this place is good.. haha! coz it serves free Martinis to all ladies before 8pm and each lady receives complimentary mini burgers.. all on the house! Now~ that's the draw.. hee!

Naturally, the alcoholic in me downed one immediately, coz it was 730 when we reached.. haha.. to make the trip worthwhile, i had 3 martinis to last the night.. haha!

We were all hungry, and it took a little while for the food to arrive..
