At the little Sentosa island~

To stroll around and at the same time take some pictures with our instant cameras (that's actually the main motive =p)

Perfect weather and company, the day was filled with much fun, laughter, sand and perspiration (coz it was scorchingly hot!!)

We were proud to present our pictures of the day~ which I enjoy looking at repeatedly.. =) that's the fun in instant photography, it's instant!

As we embrace the goodness and convenience of digital pictures, I still feel that photos should be developed eventually~

Nothing beats flipping through physical photo albums, with a cuppa fragrant tea in hand.. Slowly reminiscing the beautiful memories while I sip my tea~ how nice!

Happy Father's Day!

It was father's day 2 weekends back, and we brought daddy to his fav roast meat restaurant at Toa Payoh to have a nice brunch together =)

Yummy roasted meats! *drools* It was a simple but cosy meal together~ away from all the crowded places..

Happy Father's day to dearest handsome papa (not forgetting my pretty mummy).. Haha! For bringing me to this world, and raising me up to who I am today =)

As I slowly grow up, I begin to realise how great parents are~ I hope i'll be as wonderful as my parents next time, when I become a mum myself =p

I know it's cliche, but everyday should be Mother's and Father's day! Hee..

His new toy!

Mr Koh's got himself a new toy~ haha.. Weighing approximately 650g and twice the size of a normal fujifilm instant camera, this toy of his is ready to take over his world (almost =p)

Haha.. Not very exp coz we bought it at g market (80 bucks), and the films (1 buck per film-coz we had some discount) are reasonably priced too!

So upon its arrival, we immediately had a open-box ceremony.. Haha! It's a bit smaller than I imagined (which is good) and it's really impressive that such a toy like machine can take such good pics!

We took our first pic together using the instax 210 (not a very sexy name) and I'm sure Mr Koh will not get his hands off his toy for some time.. Haha!

Night with Christina Perri

It was my 2nd concert! Haha.. And it was not Jay Chou's (again =p).. Well, coz my little sisi wants to go badly, and couldn't find friends to go with her~ so there I was, sat through a 1.5hrs concert at Kallang theatre (been a decade since I last stepped in), singing and humming along to the limited number of songs that I knew..

One of the most popular - a thousand years, was such a hit that it's embarrassing not to know the lyrics =p

I particularly enjoyed singing along songs that I'm more familiar with.. Such as a thousand years, distance, jar of hearts, etc =)

After the concert, sisi asked if I could accompany her to wait for the band at the back exit.. She wanted to take pictures with them or at least have an autograph from them..

Omg! Nv in my life have I done such an embarrassing thing such as 'star waiting' =p that's one of the last thing one will ever see me doing (with the exception of Jay Chou).. Haha..

We didn't get any autograph or pictures with Christina Perri, but grabbing a shot with one of the handsome band member (who very nicely agreed to our request) is good enough! Hahaha.. Made all the waiting time worth it =p

My cooking adventures~

Being a little more adventurous recently, I decided to try making classic Minestrone soup! And it was quite decent I must say.. Haha.. My brother tried and gave it a 7.5 out of 10 (that's a distinction!).. Hee! =)

Made a little breakfast platter for myself one morning~ with whatever I can find in the fridge.. Haha.. And I made decent-looking scrambled egg for the first time!

Satisfied beginner chef (me) decided to buy myself a sweet looking apron thereafter, to motivate myself to cook more.. Haha! Cooking is therapeutic (once in a while)~~

After a long long while, the PPG finally met up for dinner and some chitter chatter =)

New juicy updates from shiyou~ haha.. And the rest of the night was filled with yummy Japanese food, girly topics and lighted hearted cheer...

Why wasn't there such 'princess' photoshoots in the past? I would have pestered mummy to bring me to one =p

Online Shopping Fever

Ever since the Groupon fever, I'm now introduced to another 'evil' online shopping site - G market (I know I'm pretty slow to catch up on this =p)

But the offers are simply too good to resist.. I'm not doing an ad for them, but after signing up for an account with them, any purchase is just a click away! Haha..

Received my first purchase (instant camera films) recently and am very satisfied with both the price and product =) delivery took 2-3 days only too!

I just bought another Zara inspired bird dress, which I totally adore too.. Haha! I can't wait to receive and wear it immediately =p

With the recent Groupon collaboration with gmarket, we were incentivised to grab more good deals~ Mr Koh is slowly catching up with my fever..

I hope this craze is temporal.. If not, it's gonna burn a huge hole in our pockets, wallets and bags.. Haha!

Nonetheless, think online shopping is here to stay for a little while more~ =)

Sunday brunch with family

It's one of those Sundays where we'll wake up early and head out together for brunch! =) usually when mummy's not working~

So last Sunday, we went for a sinful Prata brunch at a prata shop near the famous Casuarina =p haha! Thereafter we headed for a nice after meal stroll along lower pierce reservoir =)

Feeling adventurous that afternoon, daddy further suggested heading over downtown to Marina Barrage for part 2 of our brunch outing.. Haha!

It was the folks' first time there, and mummy was thrilled! Haha.. We walked on the green field on the rooftop, while daddy was furiously snapping away =p

We went on to the air conditioned (much needed) gallery where we were educated by a man-made demo on how the barrage actually works.. It was my first time inside too, and I was pleasantly entertained! =)

We were joined by Mr Koh later, who continued the tour of the barrage with us.. Haha..

Thoroughly enjoyed my eventful Sunday brunch! =)
