Sales, sales, sales...................

Tis the season to be a spendthrift, fa lalalala lalalala................................ Look at the flying xmas trees... Shot taken at Suntec City =)

WANTED: Woman with uncontrollable shopping urge... Hazard! =P

First it was Tangs, then it was Robinsons.. Then came Charles and Keith, then it was Wingtai... My goodness~ We've only just began the sale epidemic......
Poor legs have been badly tortured by my merciless heels... Ridiculous long queues at sales, huge crowd of people, shockingly low prices.. HAha...

Wanted to buy some good facial pdts... but am still waiting for an incredible sale that can make me part with my money =P

So far, I've spent 48 at Charles and Keith.. 2 pairs of lovely heels for $9 each, a bag for mummy ($15)and a bag ($15) for myself... Ultra cheap... I've decided, I shant buy new heels for CNY liao... HAHA!
I love this bag... ALOT! Like a bowling bag~ =)

Resisted the temptation for Wingtai sale... =P Awaiting more........... I'm guarding my pockets well.. hee!

But anyways~ I'm excited about x'mas.......... getting gifts for loved ones, humming x'mas carols, eating good food... Immersing in the festive mood.... *jingle bells*

I've always loved Novembers and Decembers... When young, end of year would mean holidays, no school, only slacking... and now, when im working, end of year is still as nice... I still look forward to it... more money to spend, more good food, more presents!! HAHA.........

Wants to jet away~~

I want to go overseas~ fly off to somewhere relaxing (beaches/resorts would be good), vibrant (places with lotsa shopping/food would be nice), scenic (adverturous hiking/trekking sounds exciting) =) So many choices, so little time and money =P

See... I've prepared my passport........ a big blue one! =)
So very cute.. found this on Mr. Yen's table.. haha! Had to pose with it........
Look how huge this passport is........
Went to Ramen Ten with Shiyou, Feli and Mr. Koh after work...

Small Food No. 2........

Look Look Look! Mini food sighted~
Yay! Bought my 2nd box of mini food... Mini food heals my hungry soul.. hee.... This time around, I bought my mini food at this toy shop at Wheelock =) *beams* You know, it's pretty hard to find mini food leh... if you are lucky, you might find it in some action city outlets... ocassionally at Meidi-ya (jap supermarket at Novotel basement).. HAha... makes me cringe and sigh when I can't find them..

HAha.. But now I know where to get them.. Guaranteed stock, chop chop confirm! Unless the shop close down... But seriously, small food is pretty expensive wor... more expensive than the real food =P

You'll know what you'll be getting when you buy at this shop because they will open the box to see what's inside before hand.. So, they will indicate what's inside simply by sticking a sticker on the respective designs printed on the box... Clever? A good thing abt this is, there will be a range of prices for such small food.. The cheaper ones will be of coz the not so nice ones.. HAha..

For fanatics like me, who are crazy abt them but don't have much to spare... will definitely choose cheaper ones.. hee...

Nevertheless, let me reveal what I've got.. at 4 bucks! =)

So cute so sweet so delicious~ Japanese pancakes and biscuits.. exquisitely crafted and painted.. They even have vvv beautiful boxes to contain the pancakes.. =)

Don't they look delicious? Too real......... Real-er than the real ones.. HAha! *drooling*

They even have a brochure kinda card.. accompanying the delicacies..
This is one of the cheaper sets available... Still as nice tho =) But when I feel richer, I will buy a nicer one, a more expensive set... hee!
Presenting to you.... My collection so far~~~ (I need a new display box... haha...)
Waiting for my next pay~ hurry hurry.........................

A non-typical Saturday work day...

Was at DBS auditorium for a SIAS corporate profiling seminar on Saturday afternoon.. Purpose of me being there is to be at my company's booth and attend to any queries which investors have..

Spent the morning memorising dividend payout, revenue, company growth priorities, figures and figures.. HAha.. felt like studying for some exams.. Well-prepared to defend any arrows that meanie investors might fire =P

Reached early, and started mingling with my colleagues..

This are the loveliest ladies I like to talk to in office.. Li lee and Anne~

The scandalous pair in BD... HAHA! Both married, not to each other.. hee~ Wilson and Peronel..
No pictures of me.. =( It's in another camera.. HAha!

So.. it was break time and investors started scrambling out like army of ants.. A long queue started to form, not in front of my booth.. but at the buffet counter.. HAha.. Singaporeans~

Then slowly, some came over, took free Annual reports and corporate brochures and left.. nv asked much.. Then, this ah-beng look-a-like man came over, took some brochures, and asked my sales colleague.. " Why is it that the top management received so much payout compared to the dividend that the investors receive?"

I was stunned.. Seriously, he is sooooooo direct, so very direct.. I respect his courage, but hated his qn... HAHA! how to ans? you think I'm the boss meh? I'm a poor, salaried employee leh~

Anyway, I think my colleague managed to shake him off with his trademark smile and laughter, trying to divert the topic... talk abt some other key performing units.. and slowly walked away~ haha..

The remaining day was spent strolling along orchard road with Li Lee before meeting Mr. Koh for dinner..
It was a wet and cold Saturday~ Haha.. Looking forward to a dry and fair Sunday =)
Time for bed~ *Yawns*

X'mas Gift Exchange~

Though there's still a long way to go before Santa comes to town, the Lim family is all excited and definitely cant wait for this joyous occasion to arrive! =)

To me, X'mas is a time for joy, love and warmth... Though sometimes I really hope the rain (since it is always rainy towards the end of the year) will suddenly turn into snow.. =P And I can get to wear pretty winter clothings.. hee...

During X'mas, the Lim family will usually gather for a nice and hearty meal together... Be it at home or at some kopitiam eating Zhi char =P HAha.. and the thing I look forward most to is GIFT EXCHANGING! =)

Usually I will be the one in charge of writing our names on a piece of small paper, then I will put them in a nice pouch/bag/cup... Then we will take turns to pick out a piece of pp.... to see who we will present the xmas gift to =) How fun~

My sweet sweet pouch.. HAha..

Isnt it lovely? Everyone gets a gift, and no one is being left out.. HAha... Gifts are usually not expensive tho.. it's the thought that counts isnt it? =)

Since almost all in my family reads my blog, I shant reveal who I've picked... SECRET!

*santa claus is coming to town~~* =)

Sick~

Like really sick~

First it was the sore throat on Monday, then the fever at night, then the super runny nose on Tuesday (almost died in office~ got a scare when a colleague said that some ppl die from flu - CHOI!), Cough on Wednesday morning.. That's it... I'm down~

I hate doctors (with the exception of the charming and young doctors, often featured in Korean dramas) haha... seriously~ If not for the MC to prove that I'm sick, I would never... NEVER, ever... step into those horrible, virus-infested clinics...

Wanted to go to the nearest clinic from my place.. amazed at my ability to walk so far out just to visit the doc =P CLOSED! my heart sank~

Took a bus and went to another clinic in Serangoon Garden... costs me a whopping $51 bucks......... For goodness sake~ It's just common flu!!! Luckily I can claim from company.. Paying only 5 bucks (when reimbursed).. Makes me wonder why the med is soooo exp? they better make me well soon................ and no, the doc was old and not handsome (I wish~).. HAha...

Somebody save me~ Sick, awful nasal voice, bored, lethargic, no appetite, drowsy... And yes, it's about to rain now............. I can either go glue myself to the bed, or do something interesting...

Out of the ordinary Wednesday~ Yes, it's only Wednesay.. Monster is coming back tml... =P
End of all ramblings~ Thursday will be sunny bright and cheerful~ Keeping the faith... Stay healthy people! =)

Crocs Sale!!

Was over at Singapore Expo on Saturday... For the first ever (I think) Crocs Sale in Singapore... Yippeee~ I'm not a big big fan of Crocs, but recently, the designs they introduced were nice enough to change my perception of them.. They no longer manufacture ugly and disgusting chunky-full of holes kinda rubber clogs.. HAha.. They have vv lovely and sweet designs like this..
It has a lovely name too... They call it the Alice~

I so wanna get a pair of this at the fair.. But but...haiz~ They're so hot!!

So, Mr Koh and I went to the sale on Saturday.. Reached at around 3pm, but was shocked by the insane queue to get in... Mind you, just to get in, not paying... HAha!

We went to the food fair first, just to let the shocking fact sink in... HAha.. We filled our stomachs, to prepare for the 'battle' ahead.. I really wanted to back out initially, but Mr Koh said since we're there, might as well experience this whole crazy sale.. HAha.. I'm glad we went ahead...

So after 30 mins of queueing, we entered the hall.. I remembered so vividly.. Hall 4A!

HAha.. welcome to the crocs' den... *be prepared to whack and be whacked*

With only the Alice in mind, I dashed to the womens' corner, hoping to get hold of a pair... Sadly and disappointingly~ I only see the dark turquoise colour left... no size 8 too! Goodness.. I expected it coz I know alot of women were asking for Alice since Friday (btw, I was there on Friday too =P, but Alice's shipment was slated to come in on Saturday)

My heart sank for a few seconds, but it's ok... HAha.. I eventually bought a pair of light turquoise sandals, and a pair of shoes (more for long dist walking)... and also a pair of shocking pink and orange pair of sandals for mummy........ HAHA! Hip de k... =P

All mine~ $20 and $30 (up: $100+) respectively.. HAha.. Cheap like crazy~

Mummy's... $20...Mr Koh's 'endeavor'... $20...
Our LOOT!! HAha... We have to buy something.. =P The women at the sale were so aggressive... The shoved, pushed and shouted for sizes.. HAha.. I feel so inferior to them... I'll never do that.. My strategy.. slowly and steadily manouver my way in.. HAha.. when asking for sizes, ask with a smile.. They will attend to you.. HAHA...
Oh ya, I like to scan through the floor for pairs which some people discard.. They'll usually leave it on the ground.. everywhere! HAHA.. You'll find treasures sometimes~
Poor Mr Koh started queueing when I'm still shopping around.. HAha.. I joined in after giving up on searching.. Queueing alone is super boring! I realized.. It's much better when you have someone to talk to while waiting to pay.. It was a 2 hr long wait.. =P
Yeah~ At least we bought something...The sky was dark when we finally came out of expo... A candid shot of Mr. Koh and jr... and our loot from the crocs fair and food fair.. btw, I bought fish crackers from Mei Zhen Xiang before going for the sale... Those crackers went through thick and thin with us.. HAha...
Dinner was at Changi Airport! Popeyes =)
Posed with Mickey and family at T3 after dinner...
It says... 'Celebrate the Magic at Changi Airport'... I can smell Christmas... Santa's on his way~
*jingle bells*

It's a 7 course dinner... It's a lil different from other restaurants.. I would say they serve 'fusion cuisine' coz I can't tell if it's western or asian... =P They emphasize alot on service, food display and of course, the taste.. I was pretty impressed the during my previous trip.. So here I am again, with Mr. Koh this time round =)
