Night Festival 2013

An annual affair~ to check out the exhibits and installations at the night festival.. Seems the same every year, but short of the highlight performance outside the National Museum this year.. Actually there is one, but it's a smaller scale performance.. No pyrotechnic effects, loud music, flashy lights.. Just some acrobatic performance.. I hope they've instilled some artistic flair in me after these years.. Haha.. I'm not very hopeful =p

I have a very short attention span when it comes to art.. They are like Greek to me, vice versa.. Haha.. I only know how to pretend being artistic.. Haha

We hopped around the museums within the vicinity, and chanced upon this exhibition at the National Museum - The princely treasures~ something I find abit more interesting.. Haha

A very colourful exhibition, with treasures from this royal family (that's about all I got from the exhibition).. And very beautiful and life-like paintings..

The thing that caught my eye most, was this calendar I saw at the merchandise store..

Haha! Every date, day and month has a singlish word associated with it! How cool... Haha

Yes! I'm indeed stylo~~
Mr. Laidback and never Gan Cheong

That pretty much sums up our tour of the Night Festival 2013.. Till next year!

The sexy and beautiful!

How I wish I have a car like this.. And have people admire my car like those two outside the glass.. Haha =p

So mean and sexy looking..

I've always loved fast cars and get an instant high whenever I see or hear them on the roads.. 帅!

Look at those rims!
The butterfly doors!
I'm not greedy.. Can I have this car for my birthday, please? Haha.. I've enough car models at home already =p

The sexy and beautiful! (pun intended)
Or as a Christmas gift? Hee..

Ok, maybe not.. I still love my Lamborghinis...... Can I get this instead?

Especially a matte black Murcielago... Muahaha! Nothing comes close.... *drools*

Singapore's 48th birthday

Still within the birthday month.. Haha.. Though a little backdated~ we celebrated Singapore's birthday in the usual fashion as we normally would.. That is to walk around marina area, eat, and watch the fireworks! =)

Chilling over a nice cuppa
Happy birthday my dear Singapore!

Seems like a long time since I last caught the parade on TV.. Haha

Nevertheless the national day long long weekend was awesome! Event filled.. Haha.. Had a 'sports day cum running man' with COKTY+, great feasting, and of course fetched my dear sisi back from the airport! She's finally back after 6 weeks of fun in Seoul =p

I shall end this post with a painting of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, that caught my eye as we were strolling along millennia walk on National Day.. How apt! The colours used were strong, and at the same time haunting.. I will not try to interpret the message that the painter wanted to bring across here =p But it definitely left a lasting impression..

Along with his portrait was a string of words, which was pretty self explanatory for people who witnessed how Singapore grew and became who she is today.. All I can say is, things would have been very different now without Mr. Lee..

Happy National Day! =)

甜蜜蜜

There's another newcomer to his 2-wheel family.. Name is still not confirmed.. Maybe it's called Flying Pigeon, Lao kok kok, Lao ah pek.. Haha!

*ling ling*

Headed over to the bicycle shop near beach road to buy his new toy.. And we 甜蜜蜜 home from beach road to my home then his.. Haha.. 7pm to 11pm.. 4hrs including getting lost due to confusing park connector signs, breaks in between to fix the back seat, and stopping at nex to buy some drinks.. Haha.. Very memorable journey home~

Shiny new bicycle glistening
On our way!
Fixing the back seat.. Haha

And we made it back home! His perspiration should be enough to fill a bucket.. Haha! Good job~ pat on our backs.. =)

Kelvin's wedding

Cousin Kelvin got married recently! At a beautiful little quaint cafe restaurant - Chop Suey cafe, tucked in a corner of Dempsey =)

Saying 'I do'

I attended his wedding with my fiancé (no longer boyfriend.. Haha) and my dear parents.. Both ah qi and brother were away, having fun overseas.. Haha!

The wedding was quite different from the conventional hotel banquets.. They had tasty finger food to go around before the dinner started, a live band belting out jazzy tunes, a magician entertaining the crowd.. And of course, had the groom sing to his lovely bride.. Cosy affair for families and close friends.. The food was great too! Yummy~

Here's wishing my cousin and his Bride a blissful marriage! =)
