iLight Marina Bay

This is the period where Marina Bay area is transformed into a colourful playground at night! If I'm not wrong, this should be the 2nd year of iLight, a festival where beautiful light installations are scattered along the perimeter of Marina Bay =)

Mr Koh and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, immersing myself in the wonders of light and colours~ I love the night view! Indeed, Singapore does not lack creative talent.. We just need a proper platform for them to showcase their talent..

Among the numerous installations, I have my best 3 favourites: The light strobe that is able form an image (if you shake your head hard enough, you might be able to see something =p), The Arts Science Museum had many new 'clothes' to wear, even our dearest Merlion was given the same royal treatment.. Haha! It was a lovely sight =)

So, if you have nothing much to do over the weekends, do head down to the Marina Bay area (by 1 April) and be enchanted by the magic of lights and colours!

Balloons at Marina Square

Had a warm steamboat 'reunion dinner' with the girls at Sukiya last week =) and we spotted a gigantic balloon sculpture planted right in the middle of the exhibition area at Marina square!

It's a transformer-like robot!!

Went back to Marina Square with Mr Koh during the weekend and it's still there.. Haha! Taken many shots with the colourful robot~ read that it's listed inside Guinness book of records.. Perhaps for the largest indoor balloon sculpture? =)

Dearest Daddy turns 5X too!

Shortly after we celebrated Mummy's birthday, it's Daddy's turn! =) how nice it is to have so many celebrations~~ we should have celebrations everyday too! Even if there are no special occasions or reasons =p

Daddy's birthday falls on a Sunday this year, so we woke up at around mid day and headed over to the friendly neighbourhood mega mall - nex, to have a sumptuous brunch.. At our favourite soup restaurant! =)

Mr Koh joined us too~ and it was such a spread~ made it seem like it's a CNY dinner.. Haha! We had the famous Samsui chicken, deer's meat, prawns, sweet potato leaves, fish slices, fried rice, toufu, and not forgetting my favourite lotus roots soup that's brewed to perfection! Yummy~

We had fun feasting, taking pictures, chatting about almost anything under the sun.. It was such an enjoyable Sunday morning~

Here's wishing my dearest Papa a Happy Birthday again~ the best daddy in the world! The most knowledgeable, humorous, caring, loving, capable, and the list goes on... Daddy~~

I love my daddy! =)

I am a Cedarian

It's been 10 years since I graduated from Cedar~ Cedar had her 55th year anniversary carnival last week, and Felicia, Angie and I can't wait to go back there and relive our beautiful memories as a student there~

The school compound had expanded, with newer and better facilities~ though the overall facade changed quite a bit, I can still remember how the school looked like 10 years ago~

Mingling with the young Cedarians made us feel old =p but they definitely reminded us of our younger days~.

I could still remember vividly, the twice a week jogging sessions before recess, PE lessons, lab sessions, home econs, D&T, changing out into PE attire in class together (coz we're all girls), class lessons, remedials, stressful exam periods.. The blues, yellows and greys!

But of coz the most memorable are the friendships forged there, that made my life so much more meaningful =)

Some of which I hold and will continue to hold dearly in my heart~ and I'm glad our paths crossed! *hugs*

There's too much memories, so much to reminisce about, so much to smile about the days spent at Cedar!

I'm proud to tell people that I studied in Cedar.. As the 4 yrs there had moulded me into who I am today.. Values which are permanently instilled in me - Honesty, Courtesy and Perseverance.. It's not the best school in Singapore, but to me, there is no other school that I would like to be in~

Dearest Mummy turns 5X! Haha..

This is a belated post =p

We celebrated mummy's birthday few weeks ago.. Had a crab feast with my family (joined by Jiayi and Mr Koh) on Sunday, we went to punggol promenade for an after-dinner stroll too! Haha.. I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves there~ nice view, cooling night breeze and lots of pretty pics (using Mr Koh's camera) taken =)

On mummy's actual birthday, I took leave to bring mum and dad around some exotic places in Singapore =p I brought them to Holland village and Labrador Park! Haha.. They used to bring me to these places when I was young, but these places changed quite abit over the years, so I reckoned I should bring them there, again! =) and snap some beautiful shots~~

Day was filled with lots of food, lots of walking (my bad, to make the birthday girl walk so much.. Haha!) lots of photo-taking, lots of fun and laughs =) I made my parents pose with a 'twist' sign too.. Hee =p still can act cute ma~

Happy Birthday Dearest Mummy!
May you stay beautiful, happy, cheerful, cute, loving, and everything wonderful~
I love my dearest Mummy! <3

I heard on radio~

“ 為什麼越愛的人越受傷? 為什麼好人會有壞的下場? 這一切跟我的想像永遠都不一樣, 難道都已刻在我手上? 我不要每次都流淚收場, 我不要每次摔得遍體鱗傷, 這一切到底是怎樣?" - Extracted from a song
