First and foremost! Let me wish Shiling a "Happy 22nd Birthday" =D Shiyou suggested going over to Changi Airport to celebrate our dear girl's birthday! Wells, please teach me how to say NO to such a brilliant idea? HAha... *Woots*

I was there early.. ard 30 mins earlier! So naturally, I welcomed the thought of walking around, though alone.. JUST ME AND T3! HAha... But i didnt mind it at all... In fact I was missing/uncontactable during the 30 mins.. Reason being, I was actually enjoying my late night rendevous with my darling airport! =P Romantic yea... HAha! Walking around the super cold airport, when I'm not wearing much (a sleeveless top! What were you thinking? =P) had never been so "warm".. HAha! T3 just can't stop serenading me... =) I was practically skipping around T3.. I see families, groups of friends and couples coming in from all walks of life, I feel happy so naturally... So easily! CAAS must have fed me with their most lethal poison.. Which fortunately, resulted me in being so in love with Changi Airport =)

I'd wanted to prolong the date.. But it's dearest Shiling's birthday celebration.. I had to run!!... Haha............

Jay's coming to town..

Once again.. Mr Jay Chou is coming to town for his concert - World Tour 2008 =) on 18 & 19 JAN... His charming stage presence never fails to take my breath away, time and time again... let alone making my heart skip a few beats!!

What's amazing is that, before I could even consider about whether I should attend his concert, the tickets were all snapped up!... in a matter of hours? HOW CAN?? *He promised to give me a VIP ticket leh* HAha... =P

And Yes.. I'm so gonna miss yet another night of world-class performance.. I wouldn't be able to traverse this extraordinary journey of music with my Mandopop Prince.. Deepest regret!

He was here back in 2003 for his "THE ONE" concert.. And being relatively poor then, going for concerts, was such a luxury... for me! So, I ended up buying his concert dvd.. Hee... still as good!

So after 5 years of waiting.. He's finally back here again.. BUT WHERE'S MY TICKET? *boo hoo* HAha... but seriously, I've never been to a concert.. Even my dearest late grandma attended her idol's (周华健) concert loh! HAha... I'm terribly suagu! But I only wanna attend Jay's concert.. Coz I think this is the only concert worth going... WAHAHA!

Anyways.... Let you in a lil secret of mine! *Shhhh* Wells, after this post.. It will be a well known fact =P I've taken part in a contest hosted by i-weekly, which entitles readers to win tickets to his concert!! Eventful Saturday...

And Yes, the title of this post says it all... Eventful Saturday it is... Had a great time shopping with my PPG at bugis village and "educated" my babes on the definition of whimsical.. HAha! Apparently, this word has caused some confusion amongst them.. hee... So, what do i mean by whimsical.. Shiyou, listen up k.. HAha!

Here's my definition of whimsical: fun, happy-themed, cheerful/relaxed, bringing childhood back, with an added tinge of chic.... most importantly, it should be done tastefully! It's all about the whole package.... AND whether my eyes approve it =) HAha..

Ok, I met up with angie baby in the evening.. to do some shopping! =) So, in order to gear ourselves for the shopping "battle", we went to the chicken rice shop at the top level of Far East Shopping Centre to have our dinner.. It was pretty empty when we reached.. We settled down soon after and ordered 2 plates of chicken rice and a plate of vegetables... Apparently, it's xiao bai cai I think... HAha!

We chatted as we ate and soon crowds started to pour in.. We asked for the bill.. So here's how the whole conversation went...

Me: Uncle, how much?

Uncle: Hmm.. (*mumbling to himself for 3 secs*, btw, he looks vv suspicious) $12...

Angie and Me: Hmm.. ok......

Me: (Thinking: WHAT!! Even Boon Tong Kee don't even charge this much loh, cannot.. i need to ask!)

Me: Uncle, how much does 1 plate of chicken rice cost?

Uncle: Oh, 1 plate $4.50, then the veg costs $3.. Nowadays Chicken vv exp.. then the rental has also increased.. Blah blah blah... So the price of chicken rice increased.. We just increased our price not too long ago... Blah Blah Blah....

Me: Oh... (rolled my eyes... PACK OF LIES! omg.......) Ok...

I reckoned that if i continued asking, he'll give me more nonsensical excuses and reasons... And i couldn't have got my deserved money back.. So, to spare my eyes from too much of rolling, HAha... We've decided to just pay and get out asap... Angie and I couldn't believe that the plate of chicken rice cost $4.50! Angie was so funny... she complained that the chicken rice at her place, which taste just as nice, costs only $2.50.. We're cheated!

So... People, unless you have too much money to spend, enjoy eating in stuffy and smoky places, and like uncles that can't lie convincingly.. HAha! Feel free to visit that store to have a simple plate of Chicken rice... Hee.... Angie and I have decided to boycott that store.. HAha!

Next, we headed down to Taka.. Along the way.. I saw a yellow lambo! which caused me to be in a temporary state of trance for ard 2 mins.. HAha! I was that close... Yes, close enough to touch it.. BUT i resisted!! Just in case the owner's just around the corner.. HAha.. LAMBO LEH! I'm still in shock.. woots! Poor Angie, she had to bring me back to earth =P hee....

Went down to Cathay Cineplex to check out a shop... And we started cam-whoring again when we saw this sign!! HAha.. way too cute to resist... =P

Yeah, Angie turns JL on... HAha! (dun worry babe, JL's not reading my blog!) HAha.... =P

Touch down in Paradise...

The long awaited official opening of Changi Airport's Terminal 3 has finally arrived =) The day.. 9th Jan 2008.. Woohoo~

Tho It's been a long time since I last roamed Changi Airport, I'll definitely remember the fantastic time I had, during my Professional Attachment over at CAAS.. I'll always treasure the beautiful memories I had while working at the Airport =) The departure and arrival halls.. The T1 and T2 transit, skytrains, canteens, storerooms.. Most importantly, the friends and colleagues I've made over there.. Too much too much! HAha.. How I hope my Professional Attachment can last forever.. =P

Yes, we accidentally stole Breek's menu that day.. HAha! I think it's with alex now.. =P

We ate at Crystal Jade too... =) *woots* ATAS interns.. HAHa...

We went to Swensens too... See, we're rich loh! =) i'm kidding.. we're poor interns whom were only given a mere $600 allowance every month.. I repeat, allowance... not salary! HAha... But still, we splurged once in a while =)

We went over to IKEA Tampines too... After work One day... ATAS interns have to use ATAS cups when drinking pepsi.. HAha!

Haha! Same venue (Breeks), but a with different group of interns.. They are interns from my dept.. Missed them! We get the same ~!@#$ , i mean tasks/work.. HAha! through thick and thin..

What do I mean by thick? By that I mean we slack together, shop around transit during working hours, super long lunches sometimes, we game at work, watch southpark, go Cold Storage, act busy... List goes on actually.. HAha!

What do I mean by thin? Meaning we really do work, serious work.. Gosh! out of the 10 weeks there, I did real work for 5 solid weeks.. Mainly due to an event.. To the extent of doing OT until 10 plus at night.. But i enjoyed it.. Willingly.. =)

Wanted to talk about Terminal 3, but instead, i can see myself rattling non-stop about my PA days.. HAha! I went for a tour inside T3 with One of the managers I got to know from an event.. I was one of the pioneer visitors wor.. *beaming* HAha! I was awed.. Yes, definitely, no qualms about that! Being so used to the designs of T1 and T2, T3 really took me by surprise.. One word - Futuristic! I was lucky enough to visit T3 when it's empty, and not fully completed.. I was given a thorough tour, and of course I totally enjoyed it coz it was during office hours.. I sneaked out! Yes, my bad =P

See the victory *Twist*? HAha.. I brought the 'twist' to CAAS too.. hee..

Seriously, T3 is very nice.. I can go on talking about it forever.. You should go take a look at it.. HAha.. T3 has a butterfly garden.. Something special! Tho i dun really like butterflies (I refer to those alive and kicking ones).. They freak me out! HAha! But its nice to see something different.. Their transit area looks like VivoCity to me.. It's huge! Architectually astounding, Futuristically designed.. WeiShi gives it 4.5/5! HAha.. 0.5 is for further improvement, tho it's already well done! HAha.. It will get a 5/5 from me, if I get to work there =) Come Come!! Employ me....................

I love the airport coz it's the place where people reunite and part.. The surge and display of the different facets of human emotions.. all happening in one place - airport!

There are so many reasons why I love the Airport.. I can't pen all down in my blog.. HAha! Ask me when u see me.. I'll gladly feed you with endless stories and reasons =)

Lazy Saturday with the lil ones...

It was a rainy Saturday... Raining cats and dogs! Haven't seen the lil ones for quite some time.. I miss them! HAha... Dearest Jia Xin and Jonas! So, along with Ah Qi, we made our way down to our Aunt's place... As usual, I received a vv warm welcome =) With lil Jia Xin showing me her prized possession - POPPING CANDY... Oh! It's been a long time since I had these... I remembered liking them alot coz of the sparkling and popping sounds they make when they rest on your tongue.. HAha... I'm sure you guys must have tried them before =) But there was a period of time I became vv scared of them, coz there was once these popping candy 'popped' quite vigourously and caused some discomfort =P

Obeying lil Jia Xin's orders, I dutifully opened the packet of popping candy =) To demonstrate the effect to the lil Ones.. I tried them first, and showed them the 'power'.. Haha! To my astonishment, they don't look scared at all.. In fact, they looked eager to try it... Suku liao.. HAha! Daredevils.. =P

Lazing around with the kids... On a Saturday evening.. These kids just seem to be so full of energy.. Zeh Zeh (uh-hem, refering to me) is growing old... Haha! U need to feed on Energizer's long lasting batteries to be able to withstand their hyper-activeness... HELP!! I'm not exaggerating! HAha..

A lil info about the POPPING CANDY from express.howstuffworks.com

To make popping candy, like Pop Rocks or Zip Rocks, the hot sugar mixture is allowed to mix with carbon dioxide gas at about 600 pounds per square inch (psi). The carbon dioxide gas forms tiny, 600-psi bubbles in the candy. Once it cools, you release the pressure and the candy shatters, but the pieces still contain the high-pressure bubbles. If you look at a piece of Zip Rocks or Pop Rocks candy with a magnifying glass, you should be able to see the bubbles.
When you put the candy in your mouth, it melts (just like hard candy) and releases the bubbles with a loud POP! What you are hearing and feeling is the 600-psi carbon dioxide gas being released from each bubble.

Great Biscuits.. in a Great box

Finally opened the Hello Kitty Biscuits Ah Qi got for me during Christmas.. I couldn't resist the temptation.. Seeing how nicely the box sits on my table.. I knew I had to do something about it.. HAha! FAST...

Wah! I tell u loh... The biscuits are so good that you can fly up to the sky immediately after the first bite.. It smells heavenly.. I'm not kidding.. Not like any other biscuits you'll find in your friendly neighbourhood convenience stores.. It tastes like heaven.. With such a beautiful box.. the cute lil biscuits are beautifully embedded in it.. It feels like heaven.. HAha! enough of heavens... But seriously, the biscuits are good! Highly recommended by WeiShi =) The biscuits can be bought from Central, basement... From the Japanese supermarket which sells alots of candies and foodies (If there's such a word) which are imported directly from Japan =) you can be assured of the quality of the food sold there... OIISHI and KAWAII loh.... HAha! (I'm not being paid to advertise for them.. )

There are 3 diff flavours of biscuits.. Coffee, choc and custard.. I love the coffee One best! =) Hee... Just a random post.. Coz i had to share it with everyone.. Hello Kitty is just oh-so-cute... irresistably cute!! Please bear with me... HAha!

Happy 2008 to one and all... =)

2008 is finally here! *Clap Clap Clap* The new year was ushered in with much anticipation.. accompanied by eager hearts which were filled with immense anticipation! It's amazing to see how the night sky lit up immediately with the beautiful effects made by fireworks.. Though their life span was played out in a matter of seconds, wells... the hope, energy, astonishment, joy and entertainment it brought made me feel like a lil girl once again =)

In short, I love fireworks... HAha! As always.............

HAPPY 2008 DEAR ALL

A few things happened immediately after 2008 arrived.. Firstly, i fell down (just a lil trip).. HAha! Wells, i would treat it as a good sign.. Meaning that 2008 will be full of "trips".. Vacations i mean... (Lame.. but who cares!) HAha..

On New Year's Day... I went over to feli's new house to attend her 'house-warning' (inside joke!) party.. Haha! I've never had a room all to myself before... I've never had a queen size bed all to myself before!! HAha.. Feli, next time stay Shiyou and I stay over.. Please free ur bed for us hor.. U sleep on the floor.. =P

Any Yes!! Something incredible, impossible, dangerous and totally out-of-this-world happened........ OMG! I've carried a dog on New Year's Day.. As silly as it sounds.. I seriously think it's a formidable feat for me... *Pat on the back* TADAH!

I always think that dogs hate me.. and will scratch/bite me at every opportunity that they can possibly find.. I'm petrified of their nails, their paws, their barks.. Their everything.. BUT! JoJo proved me wrong.. She's oh-so-sweet and demure (look at how i beautifully described her) HAha! What made me wanna carry her?

1. After few hours of observation, I realized she doesn't bite


2. Doesn't bark as much as Bobby (I still like Bobby, Feli babe..) HAha!


3. She looks like a bear to me =P


4. She looks pretty harmless


5. She has beautiful fur ( There's brown base colour and grey highlights! =P)


6. Ok la, She's cute...

With Can Cheng (Ong heng's lil Bro) and Jojo... Can Cheng sure looks like Ong heng.. HAha! He's a bundle of joy.. Poor Jojo, I can see that she's not vv comfortable.. Haha... I shall go learn and practice how to carry dogs in a proper way next time =)
