Another A+ Drama..

I've spent the whole of last week, watching this Japanese drama.. 1 Litre of tears.. This drama managed to top my drama chart effortlessly.. HAha!

Gosh.. The amount of tears I've shed.. is almost 1 litre can.. It's heart wrenching and at the same time heart warming.. I can assure you, this is one of those 'must watch' drama.. If you havent got time to catch any dramas lately, pls make time for this.. HAha! Ditch whatever DVDs/vids you have on hand.. =)

Long story short, it's an adaptation of a true story about a 15 year old girl called Aya Kato (Renamed as Aya Ikeuchi in the show) who suffered from an incurable disease called spinocerebellar ataxia. This is a progressive disease which affects the patients' movements, resulting in poor hand/leg co-ordination, speech, eye movements. She bravely battled the disease and lived her life to the fullest until she passed away at the age of 25. Very Sad!

This drama is full of love (family, friends and lover).... Totally heart wrenching! made me cry until the floor became wet with my precious tears....... =P

What made it even sadder was that, the 'lover' known as Asou kun in the show was actually a ficticious character!!.. HOW CAN!! He was added into the story coz Aya's real mum knew she always wanted someone by her side, so in order to make the story more complete, Asou-kun was added.. Can you believe it! Asou Kun was the one who brought hope into her life, showering her with the love, care and concern which transcends all forms of consolation and support.. (I'm exaggerating.. =P) He's a quiet guy by the corner in class, but sure thinks and speaks deep...

Their love was not a love at first sight kinda love.. She liked another guy before Asou-kun.. But as both drew nearer, their love blossomed secretly, unknowingly........ Sweet~

This show was actually aired in Japan back in 2005, and Ah Qi watched it like 2 years ago.. She even got the VCD can.. I was so oblivious to its existence.. Tsk Tsk! Suagu loh... But still, better late than never right?... I'm glad I caught it before life gets real busy.. HAha! Watching this drama gives me hope and definitely made me reflect and realize how lucky I am.. Seriously.... Go catch it! (I watched it on youtube.. Good news for those who wanna watch it)

So, this is my favourite song from the drama.. called KONAYUKI meaning powdered snow.. Sad sad! I recently realize that I love sad sad love songs.. Why? I don't know.. I can totally feel the songs..... HAha......... I derive joy when listening to sad songs and watching sad dramas .. Sadist right? =P HAha.......

Ah Qi told me that this song was sang by Asou-kun! And then i realized its not... ~!@#$ ... I was full of anticipation you noe.. Went to youtube to find this song, only to discover that it was sang by some random singer in Japan.. Asou-kun should have sang it loh.. More apt leh! Hee... Nevertheless, I will continue to live in denial~ HAha...
