hahaha.. we had planned to visit the Flyer again.. and it was free! coz TNP Big Walk participants were each given a free ticket..
haha.. and since we had been up the Flyer during night time, we decided to go up again.. when the day was still bright and clear (or so we thought).. HAHA!
Getting ready to step into our capsule....
and up up up we go.............
As F1 was around the corner (as of then), the race just ended few days ago as I'm blogging.. haha.. tracks and pit stop looked ready to welcome the racers and cars~
snap snap! I must take more pictures to remember this ride.. haha..
Beautiful~ minus the reflection.. haha.. can you see MBS at the right side of the picture?..
I want to be a racer~ hahaha.. zoom zoom!
Mr Koh with the gorgeous backdrop... Singapore does look more and more beautiful each day.. amidst the concrete jungle, we do have a softer and natural side.. (questionable though coz they're either man made / enhanced too).. haha..
We're slowly reaching the top!
At the peak =) Hello People below... *step step step*
A shot together to remember the day ride up the sky =)
We went for dinner after that coz we're half done with the day's programme.. gotta fill our empty stomachs so that we have enough fuel to last the night.. haha!
Dinner at superlicious at Suntec.. I still prefer soup spoon anytime.. hahaha..
Make a guess where we were heading towards~ Yes... somewhere near my work place.. and the familiar place where I spent my growing up years at =) haha..
Chinatown!!! haha..
actually not there specifically, coz we had intended to join the mass lantern-carrying walk.. which stretches from outram to singapore river.. not a very long walk.. but as it was the inaugural mass lantern walk (or was it not?)... we wanted to check it out.. haha..
Yay! I have my own lantern~ =)
Mr Koh's lantern shone brighter than mine.. haha... looks as though it's burning~
There was a mini carnival at clarke quay, selling mainly Taiwanese foodies and merchandise.. not sure if it's in conjunction with some Taiwan tourism board/cultural embassy.. haha..
there were quite alot of ppl that evening..
Look at the lovely deco on the bridge.. linking riverside point to clarke quay~ these kinda deco seemed to be quite popular amongst chinese-related festivals organisers.. I see these kind of 'lightbulb shining beneath colourful fabric' deco during CNY, Mid-autumn, etc.. haha..
We walked ard~ enjoyed the short fireworks display (Yes! there were fireworks, though short-lived, it was good enough~).. haha..
and we posed with our zodiac animals.. hear me roar!
and him squeak.... HAHA! =P
Happy Mooncake Festival~
