A first-time for me, to step foot in Farmart centre! Have seriously not heard about this place before (Mr Koh been there once previously)
We braved the afternoon shower, and reached the destination after a long ride to the west..
I would consider it a rare find in Singapore these days, as we are slowly being engulfed by concrete buildings and skyscrapers.. Farmart centre gives me a laid back village feel- very unlike the Singapore I'm used too..
We strolled along the perimeter of the centre, peeping into the surrounding small shops..
We chanced upon their little farm which has many different animals living within.. We took some pictures with them too! Very kampong style.. Haha
We spotted their prawning pond too! Prawning has become our favourite activity these days =p we definitely had to test our skills there.. It was a hilarious experience as we could easily see the prawns swimming inside coz sunlight shone through brightly.. Catching them was such a breeze.. Haha! It was there we set our best record, which currently stands at 10 prawns per hr! =)
We ended the evening with a nice and relaxing dinner at the restaurant beside the prawning pond.. It boasts a scenic view of the surroundings, and sunset.. Very nice~
