Gong Xi Fa Cai

First and foremost.. I wanna wish all my friends a vv Happy Chinese New Year! =) I would always look forward to CNY coz it feels different celebrating it every year.. Besides being a year older, i have new clothes to wear, meet up with relatives to do some catching up, or just simply sitting ard watching tv.. HAha! Though I'll go to chinatown to do my new year shopping every other year, I don't get bored of it.. it's a different experience every year.. Somehow =) I love CNY..

Aniwaes.. On the eve of CNY, I had reunion lunch with my family at home.. Scrumptious feast!! HAha.. I had my fav salmon, chicken wings, jin zhen gu and hotdogs all ready.. nicely placed on the table.. HAha.. ready to battle loh!!

This is the signature dish! Originally created by my dad.. Later copied by my mum =P HAha! A must have every year... it's like CNY without mandarin oranges.. I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't have this..

We proceeded to my Auntie's place at Chinatown in the evening for reunion dinner.. HAha! This is what I call the ultimate steamboat.. U'll find the most expensive and exotic meats.. For example, there are scallops, abalone, kidney, liver.. It's so different from the simple fare I had at home.. BUT, both are still nice and warm =) I didnt take any pics of it coz I was busy eating away.. Nothing was more important than my scallops and abalone at that point of time.. HAha!

Thereafter, it was Chinatown time again.. WAR!! Poor mummy was so frightened by the rowdy crowd that she turned pale.. I had to push the crowd and make way for her.. Daddy, bro and ah qi got separated from mummy and I while we were elbowing our way at the junction.. Mummy grew even paler when she couldn't find them.. HAha! I had to save the damsel in distress... we stopped and went to a corner to save ourselves from all the psuhing.. Luckily my head was big enough to attract my dad and bro's attention.. hee!

We walked around and realized that it's about time to start counting down to the new year.. We found a good spot to watch the fireworks and firecrackers, and I started to cam-whore again =) this requires skills k.. HAha! All 5 in...

This is what lil JiaXin wore on Chu Yi.. totally adorable wor! But apparently, she doesn't like ppl kissing her without her permission.. WAHAHA! chey... why that look? I don't care..
