A visit to Sunny's place

Had long wanted to visit the rich man's place coz colleagues have been raving about it.. Haha! And I finally did.... haha... As Mr Sunny was flying off soon, we decided to pop by his place during lunch time =)

Destination: A condo at Newton....

Boy, was I amazed... Not because I havent seen a condo before, but for a bachelor like him.. I didnt expect the place to be so well furnished and maintained.. haha... Must be the help of cleaner auntie...

Anyways, we da bao-ed the cheapo lunch from company and brought it over to his place... To help him relive his days back at the company =P

We brought whatever snacks we can find from our collection of food at office, to his place as well... haha!

The host prepared some mixes as well =) Hor hor.. The company maunal said we are not supposed to consume alcohol during working hours.. well, they didnt say no drinking during lunch time.. hee! =P

21 April 2009 = Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day! =)

Being a genuine kiasu Singaporean... I of course, cant give it a miss! hahaha... My plan for the day was to go during lunch, and also after work with Mr Koh..

So, when it's time for lunch.. Catherine (new girl) and I packed our lunch bags and dashed out of office.. Susanna, my marcom manager drove us out to raffles city! hahahaha............ We decided to skip lunch and have ice cream for lunch instead.. haha! vv horrible I know.. I influenced them in fact~~~

The queue horrified us... But we soon came to terms abt it.. haha! For the sake of ice cream... PERSEVERE!

We queued for around 40 minutes before reaching the front! hahaha... *drools*

TADAH! First cone............ haha! I got the coffee flavoured one.. Not vv nice leh =Phahaha................ My 2nd cone!!!! =) I'm such a glutton............. hahahaha...

Wanted to queue for my 3rd after work together with Mr Koh, but the queue at Cathay was super super long....................... haha... So we decided to give it a miss this year... *awwww* Poor Mr Koh, never had the chance to savour free ice cream this year.. while I had 2 cones all to MYSELF earlier that afternoon... haha! Yep....... he was grumbling after that =P

The Interns' Last Day

After 7 long weeks (gosh, Im there for more than 7 months!)........... The Interns are finally leaving.. I can feel their happiness, their joy... smelling freedom once again~ Yes, it reminds me of my interning days at CAAS........ Happyness!

Unfortunately, the interns' stay here is not vv pleasant as I've heard alot of stories from them.. mostly complains.. I understand, I totally understand... As compared to me, I was so much luckier during my days at CAAS =)

As one of them quoted, this is a birdshit company... HAHA! How apt... I burst out laughing when I heard her comment...

Anyways, I sneaked them up to level 8 of the company to snap some scenic shots before knock off.. Well, yes, we had to sneak! How pathetic.. Last day and no celebration for them from their respective dept heads... Tsk tsk... How sick and unfeeling.. Haiz~ I've got not much comments left...

Met up with PPG on Good Friday for some good food, good wine and good company =)

I miss my PPG.......... Remembering our go to school days, lunch dates, lecture and tutorial sessions together, not forgetting shopping.. we inseparable... HAHA!

So we went to Ben & Jerry's for dinner.. I had 2 big German Sausage for 15 bucks... Phew!!
So expoongsive loh!!! But I was not in the mood for pasta/bread/rice.. haha.. so.. I ordered lots of meat...........

Microwavable Hot Fudge Brownie

Hi! Welcome to Miss Lim's baking Class.........

Today I'm going to teach you how to bake edible Hot Fudge Brownie =) It's easy..... Spend around 4 bucks at any supermarket to purchase the above 'Warm Delights' pack.. haha! If you do not have an oven at home, but would love to try baking... Why not give this a try!

Please take note the 'Microwave' icon before purchasing... The packaging looks delicious enough to eat! hahaha....
Inside the pack, you'll find a black bowl with the brownie mix =)

Step 1: Pour the bag of mix into the bowl and add 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of water (I don't wish to be complicated but the instructions say so.. haha! ) into the mix...........

Step 2: Please stir well to form a smooth mixture......... The mix smells real good and chocolatey!


Step 3: Next, put the bowl of mixture into the microwave.. Set high for 45 secs........... Please wait patiently! =)

*Di di.. di di.. di di.. di di..* It's ready~

Looks pretty funny.. But don't worry....... The brownie is ready to be consumed........ Be careful, it's hot! =)

Step 4: Drizzle the Hot Fudge onto the Brownie after 2 minutes of cooling.........

Decorate it in any way which you want............ =) You can draw on it too....... haha

TADAH! Hot Fudge Brownie is ready................... Simple, easy and not very expensive... haha!

Wilson's Last Day

Another BD warrior has left........ Actually, not exactly left, but relocated... The relocation wasnt really pleasant, but wells, this is life...... There isnt much choice left...

Very sad to say, the man of BD is leaving for Vietnam... It was Wilson's last day in HQ on Thursday..........

But on Tuesday, he received a very sweet parcel! It was from his daughter, all the way from Taiwan.. Yes, she misses her Daddy and thought that his Daddy wun be gg back to celebrate his birthday with the family (in fact he is)... So, she send a cake over to Singapore~ How sweet... She is 4 this year =)

So, we each got a huge slice.. haha.. sinful~

On Thursday......... Mr Yen made a reservation at Tao's Restaurant to celebrate Wilson's farewell....... =) This is my 4th time there! haha... My mouth has such a good life... =P

A last shot before we part...... There were no tears, no yi yi bu she =P Just that office will be boring without him... No jokes, no happy chats.... more stress! Though Peronel and I won't be seeing him everyday in office, he's always contactable through phone/email... It was an enjoyable 6 months with him around~
